Volunteer Opportunities

One Prevention Alliance is a volunteer community coalition. We welcome new members who want to support the coalition's efforts of reducing and preventing youth substance abuse.

There are many ways to get involved. Check out our "Coalition Structure" below to discover ways you can join and help foster healthy youth, successful families, and a supportive community.

One Prevention Alliance is made up of community volunteers categorized into 12 Sector Representatives.

These sectors are:
  • Youth (persons <= 18 years of age)
  • Parents
  • Business community
  • Media
  • Schools
  • Youth-serving organizations
  • Law enforcement agencies
  • Religious or fraternal organizations
  • Civic and volunteer groups
  • Health care professionals
  • State, local, or tribal governmental agencies with expertise in the field of substance abuse
  • Other organizations involved in reducing substance abuse
