"We Are One Community"


OPA currently supports the students of Wind River Middle School by providing Life Skills classes.  Contact the Community Prevention Officer, Deputy Christian Lyle, at for questions pertaining to Life Skills classes.  The Life Skills program is provided by a generous grant from the Drug-Free Communities program (DFC).

We are also providing Second Steps, Allstars, and Sports classes to Skamania School, Carson Elementary School, and Stevenson Elementary School. Contact the Prevention Coordinator, Susie Strom, at for questions regarding these programs.  These programs are provided by a generous grant from the Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI) and the Washington Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR).
